What a wonderful and blessed day to spend with my students who have accomplished the Certified Horsemanship Association Level 1. They exhibited what we have been working on and learning to parents, family and friends. After the exhibition, we enjoyed a tasty lunch and great conversation. A special thanks to Kelly Hall for the wonderful photos. She is for hire if you have an upcoming show or event you would like to have photographed.

Taking students to their first shows is always a joy. So much work done and time put in and the joy that shows in the face when a ribbon is won. Congratulations to well earned ribbons. We are looking forward to more students having that opportunity this year.

We welcome “Obviously I’m a Cool Kid” and “Honey” to the farm. We look forward to having them in our Lesson program along side “Peppers Red Badger”. These are amazing horses with great abilities to teach all our students great things. We look forward to being in full swing by March.

Reworking the tarp and creating a more solid horse. We stand on it ride past it on fences and hanging in trees. We pick it up and carry it around.

I have delayed in posting due to my students, Kristen and me processing the lose of a wonderful friend and horse partner. We lost Copper last Thursday due to colic. He was a wonderful horse who gave his heart to many. We got Copper when he was 9 and Kristen accomplished great things in Eventing, Competitive Trail and Dressage. He also worked many years with New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding and came to live with me in Shelbyville and was used in my lesson program and loved by my students. He is missed but I believe he is in a beautiful and better place with KJ and Hardee and others that have gone before and we will see all them again one day. He was 26 and gave his all while here on earth.
