Golden Arrow won reserve champ as a 2 year old at the Des Moines show last weekend! This brings his total to 6 champ & reserves. He started breeding last summer and we are anxious for his crias to arrive next summer! I also included a couple pics of him in full fleece before sheering this spring and one about a week after he was shorn.

Black Gold won his 6th reserve champ last weekend at the Des Moines show, this time as a yearling. This will be our only fall show but we are looking forward to showing him in the spring! He is a very well grown boy so he may be ready to start breeding next summer.

Our 5th and final show of the season was GWAS the first weekend of May at Denver, CO. This was the second largest show in the country, second only to Nationals. We won 1 color champ and 2 reserve champs in the halter show and 1 reserve champ in the walking fleece. We took 7 of our alpacas to the show and got either 1st or 2nd place with all but one.

Our 4th show was at the end of April in West Bend, WI. This was our best show ever! In the halter class we got champ or reserve in every color class that we competed in except one. The one color class that we did not banner in was a few entries short of qualifying to have a championship round but we did take 1st and 2nd place in that class too. In the halter show we ended up with 2 color champs and 3 reserve champs. In the walking fleece show we got 3 color champs and 1 reserve champ. To top it off at the end of the show our white female (Star Rising) won Judges Choice in the halter show! Also, she had the highest score of the whole show in the walking fleece show.
