🍎Nova Mac apples 🍎 are being picked this weekend! Apple stands will be popping up locally in Vinton and Shellsburg and if you are lucky, Log Cabin Orchard Nova Mac apples will be at Roy's Hometown Grocery later this week!
Also, available for pick up and local delivery.
These apples are much larger than the Sansa.

Sweet and tangy with the classic flavor of a McIntosh, plus mild berry and wine-like notes. Texture is crisp and juicy with a creamy-white, fine-grained flesh that is firmer than a standard McIntosh.

Hey! It’s that time of the year! Log Cabin Orchard will begin our 2nd harvest season of a variety of apples. 🙌
First up is the Sansa 🍎 apple! Taking orders now. 📝

Sansa apples are moderately sized. The skin is smooth, waxy, firm, and has a yellow-green base, covered in dark red-orange striping and blush. Sansa apples are crunchy and have a balanced, sweet-tart flavor.

Today is thee perfect day for getting my steps in and to prune some apple 🍎 trees. Additionally, we have a positive update regarding the bee 🐝🐝 hives, which successfully weathered the recent blizzard. 🙌
