It’s planting season! ☀️ In the past couple of days, we have transplanted sweet peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, summer squash, cantaloupe, and mums. We start by putting down fertilizer in the rows, then lay down our biodegradable mulch, transplant the plants, and then harvest ready! 🌱☺️

Last week we put mulch down to prepare for onion planting! 🌱🧅 The mulch helps with w**d control, heat control, and moisture. We plant onions by hand, and we plan on planting 20,000 onions this season and we’ve done about 10,000 so far!

We make kettle corn, caramel corn, and other delicious popcorn with our own popcorn kernels! Tonight we popped and bagged kettle corn and caramel corn for the Shepherd Campus Life fundraiser. They’ll have hotdogs, our popcorn, drinks, and other treats. You can find them by the tractor pulls at the top of the hill this Saturday! Stop by and get some yummy popcorn! 🍿😋

We also have farm fresh eggs available in the bin for $3 per carton. Stop by and get some, we will keep them as stocked as possible! 🥚😊
