It’s wild watching an idea you brought to life catch on—and even wilder when others try to pass it off as their own. We know where this vision started, and we’re proud to keep creating, improving, and doing things our way. There’s only one original. 🐾

🐾 DOBERMAN vs. DALMATIAN: Two breeds, two historic jobs 🐾
Both breeds are athletic, alert, and striking—but they were developed for different work.
🛡️ Doberman Pinscher
Developed in late-19th-century Germany by tax collector Louis Dobermann, the breed was intended to be a protective companion who could go with him on his rounds.
🐎 Dalmatian
The Dalmatian’s exact origins are uncertain, but one of its best-known historic roles was as a coach dog. Dalmatians ran beside horse-drawn carriages and helped guard the horses and carriage when stopped. Their connection with horse-drawn fire equipment later made them familiar firehouse dogs.
📏 A quick size comparison: Dalmatians are typically shorter. The AKC Dalmatian standard calls for a desirable height of 19–23 inches. The Doberman standard gives 24–26 inches for females and 26–28 inches for males. Typical weights can vary; breed standards focus on height, proportion, and condition.
Different histories, different jobs—and a lot of working-dog heritage in both breeds. 🐾
