Guess what??? Walking Wild Gardens is now a Certified Consultant! If you haven’t checked Gardenary out yet, jump over to their feed to see some incredible kitchen gardens! We have been working with Gardenary since June 2020, and we are officially certified to design and install Gardenary-style kitchen gardens! If you have been dreaming of a kitchen garden of your own, let’s talk! Send me a PM or schedule a consultation on our website.
The perennials in the garden are all snuggled up under a blanket of snow waiting for springtime. Except they aren’t really just sitting there waiting. They are working. They are putting energy into their roots, building their foundations for steady growth come spring. Me too. Even though I’m spending more time inside under blankets than I usually do, I’m not just waiting for spring. Instead, I’m planning, working, laying the foundations for growth. And resting, too. Both me and the plants will need plenty of rest for what we’re planning this spring. What are you planning? Do you have springtime dreams that need their foundations laid now, under the cover of winter? If you have been dreaming of a kitchen garden...of growing your own food and flowers and tea and medicine...now is the time to lay those foundations. Let’s talk! Visit the “Garden Coaching” tab on our website to book a consultation. And let’s get growing! 🌱

Every day, I get to work with plants in my own garden, bring them inside to nourish my own body, and then talk to others about how to build strong and lasting relationships with plants! 🌱 It’s pretty cool! Not pretty pretty though. Lots of dirt and sweat! I’m going to try my best this year to share more about my garden process and how to building healthy, reciprocal relationships with the plants in our lives. Have a gardening question? Feel free to message me! Now is the time to get things ready for spring!

How pretty is this?? Usually herbal tea leaves go straight in the compost when I strain them, but these pretty berries and white tea leaves gave me pause. This is from our newest blend, debuting at this weekend’s markets: Winterberry White Tea. Looking for something to warm your belly and boost your immune system at the same time? She’s your gal!
