Fresh and Local is a biodynamic farm. Biodynamics has always been a Restorative or a Renewable form of food production. Restorative farming will become an important part of the Green New Deal by the time it is finalized, that's why we are helping to host Tuesday's GND Watch Party at Byrd Center. Naomi Klein will be one of the presenters on the national livestream. This is BIG TIME! Hope you can make it!

In exchange for working 4 hours per week between June and October, you will earn one CSA share a week.

Choose a shift day/time, Monday through Friday, between 7:30 am until 7:00 pm. 3-hour shifts may be split up over two days, or all in one day. (We prefer that you keep the same schedule each week!)

Expect to help with planting, weeding, harvesting, washing vegetables and totes; plus an assortment of other farm jobs.

"Biodynamic" is the quality, safety and "Naturalness" that most of us are expecting when we think "Organic." The primary goal of USDA certified organic is 'to make money.' The goal of biodynamic farming has always primarily been to produce food of the quality for the proper development of a fully human person.
