Heritage Breeder Piglets for Sale
We began by paying close attention to Chefs capable of dealing with a whole 300 to 350-pound hog (hang weight). Client list Appendix A. Another heritage breed, the Duroc has long been known for its great flavor and beautiful body structure. I saw my first at the county fair and the rest is history. The Red Wattle’s conformation is a breed trait that in our opinion could be improved if crossed with the Duroc and the melded flavors being the best of both. Eight years later we have the Red Roc™. Extraordinary breeder piglets are now available from two different sows delivering two weeks apart born on Nov. 14th and Nov. 25th. To everyone who couldn't make it out yesterday, we'll be set up again during the Farmer's Market from 10am-1pm at 461 King Street!! Just walk to the end of the market and follow the signs back to our table! We'll also be making hot sausage sandwiches with cheese and peppers! You won't regret stopping by!! See you there!

Saturday November 7th from 10:00 till 4:00 - Creekside Farms of Jefferson County is having a pork and fall produce (winter squash & apples) sale "in town" at 461 S. King St. (Three three doors down from the post office toward Elementary School). The event will feature our award-winning pork sausages (no nitrates).
The sale will benefit our farm internship program in partnership with Shepherd University. Someone will be in the kitchen, too!
