It’s been a busy week on the farm chopping first cutting grass hay for the silo. The hay crop has been VERY light for us this year due to the cold weather and late frosts. Hopefully it warms up soon and gets growing!

We are excited for a farmers market that’s coming to our town this summer at the old Big M! Check out several vendors and the treasures at the bargain bins. We hope to see you this Saturday. If you want us to bring a certain cut of meat please let us know.

Need some meats for your Memorial Day cookout? We have Angus beef available for your barbecue! Raised here, processed in a USDA inspected facility. Message us for weights and quantities. Very limited supply of hamburger. Support LOCAL farms!

Attended a maple open house yesterday at Shaver Hill farm where we get our custom jugs and supplies. Nate Bissell was there demonstrating the new Galt evaporator and my buddy Bevan and I even got to make a brief cameo at the 43 minute mark. 😂

We are so proud of our daughter for coming in 2nd in the state for junior extemporaneous public speaking at the NY State FFA Convention this week! She was given a topic and had only a half hour to research it and present a speech on it. We are so glad that 4H and FFA exist for these kids and we encourage everyone to support them in our schools and communities.

Replacing dead trees and adding another couple rows. Hopefully we’ll have some Christmas trees for sale in a few years!
