This is Peppercorn and she is looking for a new flock!
She was hatched June 20th, 2026 meaning shes a little over a month old. Somehow the egg She was in snuck into a silkie clutch and as you can tell she is not pure silkie. Now i do have her parents, her mom is a half splash half gold laced wyandotte and her dad is a pure splash silkie, meaning she is 75% splash silkie and 25% GLW. She looks identical to her mom so I think she'll grow up to be very pretty, just not what I want for my flock.
She has grown up so far fully integrated into our flock with no artifical heat other than her mom. As she has alot of baby fluff still, it would be ideal for her to go to a flock with an adoptive mom or in a brood box set up.
Located in Sheridan, OR and im asking $5 for her.
Disclaimer: im guessing its a hen based on how her mom looked at this age but it is impossible to know for a few months still, but could very easily be a roo.
Keep an eye out as we have two hens sitting on more clutches right now meaning we will have more chicks in the coming weeks!!
