From live music and sheep shearing to meeting baby chicks, exploring the ranch, enjoying farm-to-fork food, and supporting local artisans, it was such a special day despite the windy weather.

Meet Roxy ❤️

One of the ranch cats whose favorite hobby is hanging around with us… and closely watching the laying hens.

At first, we were worried Roxy might bother the hens. Turns out, we should’ve been worried about the hens bothering Roxy instead 😅

Being a free-range hen at Coffee Pot Ranch is a tough job that requires not taking anything from nobody... including the ranch cats.

One of the reasons Coffee Pot Ranch has tasty-mild flavored grass fed and grass finished for our beef and lamb is because our animals graze on green pastures year-round.

To keep those pastures healthy and growing, we irrigate throughout the season. Before firing up the well pumps this year, we had some repairs to make on the main water line for the bottom pasture.

A lot of ranch life happens behind the scenes, but it all plays a part in raising quality food from the ground up 🚜
