We found that over the years the food was making us sick with all the hormones and other additives so we started to try and eat better. After years of research we found that we could potentially have a pretty self sustainable farm with home grown healthy and junk free animals and produce. We moved to Oregon and purchased a small parcel of land and have been trying to convert it to usable pasture
land. We researched breeds that we could grow on our 5acre plot and looked at sustainability between the animals and the land. It is taking us a while but every day we get a step closer to our goal. With 4 young children and the man of the house working a full time job we get a little bit done every chance we get. We hope to be able to give back to the community and sell our produce and livestock to those that might not be in a situation to do what we are doing but want the same things as us with the food they eat. I hope you stay with us on our journey and will be there to see us succeed.
