Our heifer calves are living their best life! Thick winter coats, full bellies, and apparently they’ve discovered the water trough is also a social gathering spot.

One of the best parts of winter is having these drama queens brought in where we can watch them grow. And honestly, with how mild it’s been, they’re probably wondering why they even needed to come inside. But we’re not complaining - it means we get front row seats to watch them develop into quality herd replacements… when they’re not too busy gossiping at the water cooler or photobombing each other.

our girls are home! watching these yearling heifers make the trek back from their summer pasture in Ranchester reminds us why we love what we do. even at just a year old, they’ve got the strength and determination that defines our herd. proud of these tough young ladies.

Working alongside Roger isn’t just a job—it’s a privilege and a pleasure. His positive attitude, work ethic, and genuine kindness make even the toughest days on the ranch better. He’s the kind of person who makes you grateful to show up to work each morning, even in the cold to irrigate. Even our herd are huge fans, following him everywhere.
