All together for 25 birds we got 120lbs of meat!

The birds averaged anywhere between 3 and 7 pounds. I’m very happy with how they turned out!

I’ve found myself in a “fatty” situation with lotsss of suet to render! But I need help with coming up with new scents for my tallow lotion!

So drop a comment with a scent or scent combination you would like to see!

The marbles you ask? Not only bragging rights buttttt a flight of whipped tallow lotions!

You will get 3️⃣ 2oz. jars of my whipped tallow lotions. You can do 1 of each scent or mix and match!

So here’s the rules:

So if you know me personally or if you’ve been to our house you know who this fella is..

And for those who don’t know - don’t worry, let me fill you in!

This is Nigel. He is my ✨special✨ duck. I don’t know much about him other than he was a solo boy, hatched alone, with no friends, and a pretty solid case of angel wing. I brought him home and he bonded with the ladies and now he is the protector of the gang.

I honestly don’t even know what breed he is. My guess is a Rouen mix?! Can ducks be mixed like dogs can?? Haha I have no idea. I just know we love having him around!

My ducks stay on the pond in the summer, only coming to land to get some food (they are spoiled). I’ve been trying and trying to scoop Nigel up and hold him since FEBRUARY.

Last night was my lucky day!

He fought and fought the whole time, but deep down I knew he loved it (just kidding lol, he hates me).
