Yesterday we got a big ass delivery and we are so excited! Gone are the hot hot days with our new Big Ass Fans evaporative cooler. This is designed to cool 6000 sq ft (which is more than we have)! We cant wait to try this baby out today for Music Bingo.

We were honored to receive an invitation to collaborate on a special beer for the upcoming Brewing Bridges Collaboration Festival. We got together with brewer Chris Jennings and the rest of the Lotic Fermentation team to create a Rotbier. This rarely-found style is a traditional German red lager that originated in Nuremberg during the Middle Ages. It translates to “red beer” and features a distinct copper-to-ruby hue, a malt-forward flavor profile with light caramel and bready notes, and an alcohol content generally between 4.8% and 5.6% ABV. Our very first Feud night at BearKat Brewing is officially in the books. A massive congrats to our inaugural champions who quite literally manifested their victory: Winner Winner! (We can only assume chicken dinners were had by all).
