Looking for small, easy-to-manage livestock for your acreage?

We will have multiple Shetland lambs, ewe/lamb pairs, and yearling intact rams available in 2026.

Shetland sheep are a wonderful choice for small farms—they’re hardy, efficient grazers that help keep your pasture trimmed (no gas bill required!). They can also support agricultural property tax deferral in some counties (not tax advice—check with your local assessor for details).

Our flock is a closed herd, raised on pasture with local grass hay, plus small amounts of alfalfa and COB for training. We are a sustainable, spray-free farm.

Shetlands are known for their beautiful, crimped wool, and we’re happy to connect you with our fantastic shearer if you’re interested in fiber.

Our sheep are:

Friendly and regularly handled
Raised with livestock guardian dogs, chickens, and kids
Used to farm life and (mostly!) come when called

We currently have white, moorit, and chocolate brown genetics available.

⚠️ Please note: Shetlands are small and require secure fencing and predator awareness (coyotes, cougars, eagles, etc.).

💰 Pricing: $200–$350 per head: Discounts available for multiples
📍 Located near Sherwood, OR (97140)

If you’re interested, reach out with a bit about your setup and what you’re looking for.
Preference given to fiber homes, but Shetlands are a lovely dual-purpose breed.

These little darlings look at us with their big eyes and PROMISE they wont eat the lavender if we let them in to "help" mow the grass. And we do. And then we find them munching on it! Needless to say, if you're looking for U-Pick lavender this year, we recommend Bill and Lori at Mountainside Lavender over on Highway 219. Happy Lavender picking everyone! Find open hours etc here: https://www.mountainsidelavender.com/

Also we have some shetland wool and full fleeces for sale - Fiber artists - message us for more info!

The cuteness just keeps on coming! 5 lambs and counting!!! We will need to rehome some sheep and lamb pairs in the next two weeks - so if you want some Shetland cuteness in your life, hit me up! Shetlands are easy keepers and easier than goats on fences. They do need fences to keep out coyotes and a safe dry place to sleep. They need at least one friend, clean water, and a bit of hay and feed in the winters or summer when there is no grass. They have amazingly soft and gorgeous crimped fleeces that are highly sort after by fiber artists, and I can hook you up with our shearer. Shetlands are in the recovering category of the Livestock Conservancy (see https://livestockconservancy.org/index.php/heritage/internal/shetland) Ours are all pretty tame and come to be fed so they make great pets, although they're not potty trained ;) We tried!!!! PS We are also selling this year's raw fleeces! I will post them up here as soon as we're done skirting!!!
