Neon Acres Farm Neon Acres Farm is a 4-acre market garden located at the corner of HWY44 & Black Butte Rd.

We utilize the rich volcanic minerals of Mt Lassen to grow premium quality produce using organic principles. 👨‍🌾 Visit us at the Shingletown Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8am-12noon

We want people to be able to taste the natural flavors of homegrown produce grown and ripened to perfection. Neon Acres Farm started development April 2018 and yielded its first produce in May 2019.

Happy Friday from the farm. Currently picking swiss chart, kale, salad turnips, scallions, garlic scapes, and fresh onions-torpedo, red candy apple, and white superstar. also, currently featuring locally raised ranch beef from Split Creek Ranch in Los Molinos. This beef is incredible.. and it's the weekend, so come pick up a Ribeye, New York, Top Sirloin, or one of many other cuts to put on the BBQ! Greetings Everyone.. currently picking lettuces (red fire, green sweet crisp and red butter), bok choi and kale. Also, some of the herb plants are ready as well... basils' (italian, lemon and thai), sweet marjoram, and lavender. Also, it's here!!!! this season's locally raised ranch beef, from Split Creek Ranch in Los Molinos. All of the custom cuts are now available.. filet, rib eye, top sirloin, new york, ribs, short ribs, brisket to mention a few. With the Memorial Holiday around the corner, come get some amazing ranch raised beef for your BBQs. So come on by the farm today or tomorrow and pick some of this goodness.. Greetings everyone. We are coming out of a crazy winter here at the garden, so things are a bit chaotic to say the least. Looks like the garlic and onions have survived, just not sure how big they will get, as it looks like they are behind a few weeks of growth. The Lettuces are just about ready (few more days), along with, Bok Choi, Torpedo Onions, Spinach, and Kale. Also, we are fortunate again to feature locally ranch raised ranch beef from Split Creek Ranch, Los Molinos. We will be picking it up this week from Johansons Meats in Orland, where it was USDA certified and packaged. So many things happening, and we are looking forward to a great 2023 gardening season..

Greetings from the farm.. Just picked an incredibly beautiful Ginger Pride melon. This variety of melon averages 14-22 lbs. each! The skin is green, turning yellowish when ripe. The flesh is very sweet. This melon originates from the state of Kentucky and was named after the granddaughter of Rev. John R. Johnson. The one picked on the farm this morning came in at 17.55 lbs..WOW.. what an incredible treat for a BIG family..LOL

Happy Labor Day weekend from the farm.. Today the farmstand will be open from 10am-4pm. Picking Heirloom tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, melons, eggplant, peppers, okra and the last of the season squashes. Also, if you're still looking for that something delicious to bbq.. like a burger, steak or even a brisket for that smoker, then pick up some of this amazing beef from Split Creek Ranch. Greetings Everyone!! With the summer crops winding down, I unfortunately will not be planting a fall garden due to water issues. I will take this opportunity to work on the back-up water system for the well, and other projects for next season. Fingers cross, come spring, there will be plenty of water for the 2023 garden season. For the next few weeks or so, I still will be harvesting the remaining crops. Currently picking cherry tomatoes, eggplant, squash, okra, peppers and a few heirloom melons.. the Ginger Pride, Tennessee, Casaba and Tiger varieties. Also, I still have some quality cuts of Split Creek Ranch beef. So if you would like to pick some up, come on by.. and Thanks so much for all your support!!

Happy Saturday Everyone. The farmstand will be open today until 4pm. Today we have fresh cucumbers, squash, eggplant, okra, and a few cantaloupe, peppers and cherry tomatoes. Also, if you're looking for some amazing local ranch raised beef, we still have some amazing premium cuts left, as well as ground beef for that delicious burger!! Some come on by today. Good morning from the farm.. The farmstand will be set up out front today from 10am to 4pm. We have fresh picked cantaloupe, watermelon, squash, cucumbers, eggplant, and a few cherry tomatoes!! Also, there are yellow sweet, red and torpedo onions ..as well as some shallots, left.. Some come on by.. have a great day!! :)
