We honor those who gave all, those who gave their lives so that we can continue living ours.

I'm on vacation and have been trying to stay off social media today, however, I still wanted to take time to post before the day ends since 24 years ago, many lives were lost, lives changed forever. Loved ones who didn't get to go home, didn't get to go on their next vacation, weren't able to create more memories with their families.

Every year on 9/11, we pause to remember a day that we will never forget. We remember those we lost, those who served both during and the following days/years after, and those who are carrying forward. 🇺🇲

Today marks six years since SSgt Ben Hines, SSgt Chris Slutman, and Sgt Robby Hendriks sacrificed all for our country. These three warriors will never be forgotten for their service, dedication, and patriotism.

Ben was known for his passion for serving others, always with a smile on his face. He was hilarious, he was kind, he was hard-working, and he was a natural born leader. If you’re looking for a way to honor and remember Ben today - spread laughter, be selfless, and love our country.

We miss you. We love you. We can’t wait to embrace and share joy with you again. Til Valhalla.
