I made an event for opening day this year (7/1). You will see it is a little later than normal due to the April frost damage. Patriot and the pinks took a big hit. Reka still looks like there will be good picking for a little while. Blue ray. I too check on again.

Our Vineyard was also affected

We did not escape the damage this week. Some varieties are worse than others but the Riesling took it hard. 😞

The 90 degree weather the other week was amazing... until everything woke up to a freeze warning. I estimate I lost at least 50% of the Patriot, the Reka took a hit but was a little better, and BlueRay was not touched because it flowers later. I will keep an eye on this but I might be opening later and having a shorter season -- so those birds better buzz off this year.

If you know a farmer, love on them. Many local places are seeing damage.

Tomorrow night Is going to be it for the blues. Pick 'em until they are gone! We made it an extra week, yay nets!

Well, the birds are desperate and are going after the pinks which means the nets I do have are prolonging the end of my season (a little.) You can fill a big bucket with 1-2 plants of super fat blue ray. Come get them while you can this weekend.
