This recipe comes from Mark Bittman's How to Cook Everything. Easy and Delicious. The only change I made was to add a couple of cloves of minced garlic at the same time as the onions. I also did a cornstarch slurry at the very end to thicken the sauce a little more. It serves about 4 and is easy enough to put together on a busy work night....
