We've been made aware of the speculation regarding our business.
Privately, we've been working through sensitive and unexpected personal circumstances out of our control to which we didn't and don't have all of the answers. Additionally, there are other contributing factors that took the back burner due to the nature of that main circumstance.
Over the last few months context that we shared in relation to temporary changes with the business opened a platform for speculation and the spread of misinformation.
A couple months ago we decided to not have store hours on Mondays to keep up with heavy demand and do our best to balance the challenges we were facing.
Hours were accurately reflected on Google and Facebook and we were trying tirelessly to catch up. During this time our signs and notices that were posted to notify changes were removed without permission, some people acted on our behalf to falsely report changed hours on other platforms to reflect both a broader spectrum of hours and/or the closing of our business, both of which weren't correct which would cause further confusion.
Having to still maintain running the businesses we ultimately decided a couple of weeks ago that due to the series of events that occurred we needed to put cones up in front of the entrances to the market.(At this time we're not disclosing all the reasons that led up to this)
When unexpectedly facing private matters it becomes incredibly challenging to keep up with false information, let alone try to give explanations and answers that we ourselves don't have.
Being small business owners, we not only understand- but respect and are honored to have the privilege to be a part of this community. We've maintained, and will continue to do so; being honest and forth coming with our customers and supporters.
It is true that there are multiple factors regarding this overall situation. The "main"/most substantial core reason is personal to which we don't have all the answers in order to give one direct answer at this time.
Prior to publicly announcing both short and long term plans we feel obligated to ensure proper notifications are made to our vendors, suppliers, and those close to us. We are diligently working to finalize this as we process all the information we've acquired over the last couple of weeks. We recognized that if we were speaking on behalf of our own situation and it gave the foundation for misinformation; that it wouldn't be fair to those who we have professional or personal relationships to be put in the situation by default to answer questions that we weren't ready to share.
We apologize if the past few weeks haven't been our finest hour and apologize for any inconveniences.
Aside from personal/health challenges; but we'd be lying if we said the weight of business challenges have been just as heavy. All businesses have their challenges.
Trying to do business in the "new world" with old practices:
-The shake of a hand
-A hard honest day's work
-A strangers word they'll be back to pay for their propane fill
The way business "should" be, the way it used to be.
It's easier said than done, especially with the challenges in the workforce. With this mentioned, we're not saying it doesn't go both ways. The culture of today's workforce didn't come from nowhere and it's with that in mind that we as employers are determined to bridge the gap.

Fidelity, Integrity, Perseverance, Diligence, Devotion, Determination, Stewardship, Initiative, Reliability, Forgiveness, and a really good sense of humor. (Heavy on a good sense of humor 😆😉)
Far before health complications and personal matters went haywire; with good intentions, we've kept information private regarding previous obstacles faced throughout business endeavors. Which in a roundabout way, also plays a role in our circumstance today.

We appreciate the grace we've seen from those who support us and stand by our side, even with little information publicly disclosed.❤️ May the world have more people like you in it!
We're not perfect, surely never claimed to be 🙃
If anything take this as a testimony that when something never seems to align, maybe it wasn't supposed to. ⛈️🌈
We'll have more information to relay over the next couple of weeks and again, we apologize for any miscommunication or ways that it appears we should have handled things differently. When speculating, please keep in mind that there are things we choose to not publicly disclose because we are not going to speak on those who have wronged us to save a few bad opinions.
At the end of the day, were two people. Two people with a small family, big dreams, and the tenacity and grit to see through our goals and aspirations.
