Help wanted. I have 23 acres in grass, tractor, haybine, tedders, rake, baler with kicker, wagons and fuel provided. Just need your time and expertise.
I need someone to cut and help put up small square bales. Will hire hands to help with stacking, elevator in barn to help with putting up the hay.
Will pay by the bale.
First cutting is usually between 1600-1800 bales, second between 600-800.

Starry Night Farm is looking for someone to add to the team. We have openings for AM/PM feed & turnout chores and holding for the farrier which occurs 2x's a month always on a Tuesday. Would prefer someone with horse experience but willing to train the right person. Feel free to PM if you are interested.

Starry Night Farms has stalls available for full care board.
Quiet private facility in Shortsville, NY. 5 minutes off the Thruway exit 43. Large indoor (170x60), 12x12 stalls, multiple turnouts with large bales in each. Seasonal grass turnouts, heated tack room. Horses are out everyday weather permitting. Summer is night turnout, winter is daytime turnout. Grain 2x's a day (Triple Crown Senior, Alfalfa pellets, shredded beet pulp (no molasses) grain is served wet. When in the stalls they are provided with hay in slow feed hay net. 23 acre hay field that you can hack around, automatic water in pastures. Owner lives on the property and manages/participates in daily care. Large bales come from the same supplier for over 15 years, small bales are from my personal hay field.
