Temperatures below zero… but calving season doesn’t slow down! This (hefty!) calf arrived last night. Tom was quick to put the heater on her while the cow licked her clean, then moved her into the warm wash room to dry her completely.

In this type of weather, having confinement calving and a heated wash room is extra handy. This helps us to quickly get critical nutrition into these calves — and protect their ears from frostbite!
