Your community needs you! Lean in with The Agora Borealis!

Have you been searching for a way to support local orgs doing great work? We’ve got something for you!

Wine Dine Equine is back on November 1 at Silver Lake Ballroom (at the other end of Lake Street) , and it’s all in support of The Arc Caddo-Bossier’s GREAT program, which uses horseback riding to help kids and adults with disabilities build strength and confidence.

There’ll be live music, a solid food lineup, a silent auction, and a good crowd. It’s one of those nights where you can hang out, eat well, and make a difference.

Tickets will go on sale in October but if you want to save $25 on your ticket, consider becoming a member.

The work I’ve been able to do in the past wouldn’t have been possible without the help, encouragement , support Jim gave and the space he made available for entrepreneurs like me and others to win. I met him at a Chili cook off back in 2018 and had no idea or interest of becoming an entrepreneur. The first time meeting him sparked the idea that it can be possible for me to start a business.

I’m rooting for Kanya of Local Market On Line and Shreveport Biscuit Company. The work she has put into making both businesses successful and the opportunities she’s creating for local farmers, artist and makers to thrive are nothing short of astonishing.

Wow! What an amazing experience! Join the great food fight! We need all hands on deck to fight food insecurity!

It was an honor to be interviewed by my awesome Shreveport farmers market friend Biskie and to have the founder Cassie Hammett of The Hub: urban ministry share the realities our community is facing with food insecurity and what the great food fight is all about!

Thank you to my Bro Andrun Fisher for making this possible!

Food is the first step to a restored life for so many in our community.

Appreciation Post!

Our successful season at the Shreveport Farmers' Market wouldn’t have been possible without these incredible ladies! Help me cheer them on!

Lee Ann of LionArt Creations made the Earth Bites that have been such a hit. She made it possible for us to offer something that pairs perfectly with our juices, using spent apple and carrot fiber from our juicing process.

Lacey of moonlightharvest.co makes our Earth Bites truly unique with her Pioppino mushrooms, renowned for their culinary excellence. She pours love and passion into growing her mushrooms, and we’re thrilled to collaborate with her.

Adeae has been helping me at the Shreveport Farmers’ Market since last year. It’s been amazing to watch her grow and excel over the past two seasons. She’s developed strong leadership and sales skills. This year, she even helped in the kitchen, earning her ServSafe food handler certification and showing up every Friday in her chef’s coat. As a senior in high school, she has a bright future ahead, and we’re cheering her on!

Aleksandra has been a tremendous help in the kitchen, ensuring everything runs smoothly and that we finish on time to make our No Ceilings CrossFit class. We’re grateful she had time to help us this summer. She recently graduated from LSUS with a master’s in Computer Science and is now working as a data analyst.

Thank you to these talented, hardworking, and driven ladies who made this summer a success!
