Im going to get a little personal here for a minute. I want to thank Scott and Leslie Peters for their continued support of PAPA’s BBQ. If you didn’t know, which probably 99 % don’t) they gave me my first shot at cooking for the “masses” and actually helped PAPAA’s BBQ come to fruition. A year ago they came to me and asked if I could cook for their 1st annual customer appreciation day. I had talked about doing this to make money but thought it was just a pipe dream. HECK I didn’t even have a name for my BBQ. That was until Scott needed a name to put on the flyer Leslie was making. I told him to give me a little time and I’d get back to him with a name. I called my son on speaker phone and we went over names as a family. We had a couple of names but didn’t really pop to me. That’s when my daughter in law came up with PAPA’s BBQ (My granddaughter’s call me Papa). My wife said she could tell by my facial expression that the name was perfect. So I call him back maybe 20 minutes later and PAPA’s BBQ was born. I guess you could say I owe them everything, they didn’t know and are probably finding out as they read this that they basically pushed me into business. And for that I will forever by thankful to them. Thank y’all so much for everything.
