Today was a special day. I was asked to speak to Hudson’s preschool class about farming. He had no idea I was coming so it was a nice surprise and he got to be the coolest kid there by leaving in a combine. Then, we had lunch together and got to spend some quality time drilling rye.

We finished harvest a few weeks ago and were busy helping a neighbor finish their harvest, fixing one of our semis, and the last week has been time spent drilling rye cover crop.
