Spend an afternoon learning the Appalachian craft of broom making! Participants will make and take home a turkey wing style whisk broom made with traditional broomcorn and h**p cordage. This class is for total beginners as well as avid craftspeople. Age limit: 13+ or with special permission of instructor. This class has space for ten participants.

First year of U-pick on Walden Peak Farm (currently big, sweet, THORNLESS blackberries and some blueberries)! Brought to you by my brother and his family David & Yang Welch. Limited spaces, They hope to have the tent setup by 10am Saturday July 6th. I'll post more information over the weekend.
