My delicious homemade chocolate cake recipe calls for buttermilk and I hate wasting the rest of the container. Does anybody need chocolate cakes or cupcakes for this weekend but I can make to use up the rest of my buttermilk??

When posting about my family giving trays or dinners to families after the loss of a loved one or other event, I just wanted to clarify I am NOT doing them for recognition or to praise me or my family! I post everything that goes out of my kitchen to show my customers what all I offer and give you ideas on how to show your love & support for your friends and family in this unique way! Please don’t think I do anything for a pat on the back!
Also no matter if my family provides it or other customers do, every bereavement tray that goes out of my kitchen is prayed for, even if I don’t know the family or the purchaser! God knows them all!

A very special family we know suffered an incredible loss last week. We decided to wait on taking them a meal until now because we figured they would have so much from so many that we hoped to ease their burden of cooking supper tonight.
Our families hearts go out to the entire Blunt family and pray that God wraps His arms around them and give them the strength that they need during this devastating time!!
And just as I suspected
My momma loved it as much as my kindergarten art projects although I very much don’t!! My icing was WAY too soft and it was WAY too hot in my kitchen BUT I was able to try a few new piping techniques (most were fails) and knew she’d love it anyway lol Hope you had a great birthday momma! Enjoy the taste of the cake and don’t look at the outside lol

When your husband’s 5 AM alarm wakes you up and after 30 minutes you decide to quit fighting it and get up!! You start making your right hand woman your mama a birthday cake! I hope it turns out as good as I’m hoping, I know the cake will, I can’t wait to see it decorated!!

How’s it go? At first you don’t succeed….try try again???? Well in this case, I’ve tried and tried and tried and tried again!!! Ugh!!! I’ve tried to do multi tier cakes before and its always a fail! A few weeks ago one of my best friends Christy asked me to make one for her parents wedding anniversary but I assured her I couldn’t do it cuz I have not been successful at getting one to stay upright. She has way more confidence in me than I do she said I know you can do it but understand. I REALLY don’t like wanting to know how to do something but not doing it good. So, since my friend had so much confidence in me, I thought I’d try it again! Made a sample cake….just to play with……Tried a new yellow cake recipe, chocolate cake recipe, 3 new piping techniques and stacking 3 layers on 3 layers…..made my family wait 24 hours to try it just to make sure it wasn’t gonna fall! So the verdict is………FAIL!!!! Yellow cake has ok flavor but terribly heavy and dry! Chocolate cake has better flavor but a little twang in the aftertaste and even heavier! Roses are off center, holes between them and the ending spiked out instead of aside! Top tier piping is not evenly laying down all around and big holes at the top before it gets over the edge Piping around the top is prob best thing in front of you! Except the big white pearls-they’re store bought sixlets so they’re yummy! So…….I think I’m defeated!!! 😢💔 I’ve spent sooooo much time and money on trying these and at some point ya just have to say….I’m done!! So leave it to the professionals, my friend Bethany and Deanna! Posting this to show you I’m just a real person trying new things over and over and over again!

This year I decided to make one of those beautiful arches for my home. Idk if any of y’all have ever made one but my gosh it’s time consuming and takes a lot more supplies then I thought!!!
