We welcomed our first ever litter of piglets into the world this weekend and couldn’t be more excited to share them with all of you! They along with our next expected litter will be looking for farms of their own in the future!

It’s been a while since posting on here with winter being a busy time on the farm. The goat herd and I have been relocated back to NC. A new large brush area has been fenced with temporary electric netting for all the younger bred does so they can clear the under brush out before spring, and they are loving it! We are also expecting kids and dairy calves in the next month!

Did some hoof trimming on the younger girls with what little daylight I had left! Aggie took her first trim like a champ💪🏼, Cindy-Lou-Who gave no trouble but made sure to give me her look of disgust afterwards😂, and Wanda was her usual antisocial self and wouldn’t let me catch her so she’ll have to get trimmed some other time🤦🏻‍♀️! Thinking about doing a doe leasing program, where kids can “lease” a doe kid for their show season and then return them to the farm once the doe kid has aged out of showing! They would be taking them home and responsible for feeding them and working with them just like any other livestock project! Thoughts and opinions? I currently have a February 2023 doe, a October 2022 doe, and a June 2023 doe that would be available for this program Rocking A Farms
