Friday Registration for Vendors and Exibitors for Silk Hope Old Fashioned Farmers' Days', and we had a good turn out, with pleanty of volunteers that served. There will be more registrations tomorrow before the gates open tomorrow, starting at 9 AM with prayer and flag raising ceremony to kink off our 51st event.

This year with some of our previous procedes, we purchased new tables and chairs for our dining pavillion. Each year we try to make this weekend a little bigger and better, for our quests. We hope you will come out this weekend and enjoy the good food, vendors , and exhibits.

We have been seeing many great comments and likes regarding our Old Fashioned Farmers' Days' reels of our flue cured to***co barn. It has been a journey keeping this exhibit alive, but we felt the end product of our effort was not enough to give you insight of what it took to cure to***co in the early days. So this year we documented with video some steps along the way to get us to show day. You have a chance to come out and meet the man Ed Hargis, this Labor Day weekend and show your appreciation for his drive to keep this early farming experience alive. We are very proud of this exibit.
