I am still processing and ruminating on the season, making notes of things to improve and reflecting on what went well. Overall I am feeling vindicated. Other people care about food quality, they care about the viability of our community's food economy. I am far from alone in believing we owe the animals that feed us a high level of care. A lot of us are looking to eat more seasonally, paying attention to where we source the things we need.

Thank you to every one of you that purchased something the farm produced and thank you for your words of encouragement and support. I know I'm not the only one that cares.

How's this for meal planning? Provisions for stuffed peppers and beef stew will be at our market stand tomorrow! Plus a lot more... we harvested until we ran out of totes (an unprecedented event).

The farm store will be open tomorrow (Sunday) from 10-4. We will have foraged chantrelles, tomatoes, peppers and pretty flowers.

Available for upick are: tomatillos, poblanos, anaheims, herbs and more.

We'll be in Newport tomorrow morning with a big harvest of fingerling 'taters,

poblano, annaheim, gypsy, shosh*to, jalapeño, and serrano peppers

Last of the bok choy and 🌈 chard

And basil if I can fit it in the van.

We have farmed and foraged goodies at our market stand today. I'm incredibly proud to share what Zach and I have created this season!

We have florals, peppers, cilantro, basil, 🌈 chard, tender kale, daikon radishes and pak choi and our pasture raised beef and lamb in stock at the farm store. Cooler is packed with bevvies and small snacks, but feel free to bring lunch and hang out!
