August OPEN FARM is coming up! Everyone is welcome!

Saturday, August 8th
1:00–4:00 pm
Camanna’s Petite Paradise / Camanna’s Trinity Haven
Location: 2842 Old River Rd. NE - (under 3 miles from Siletz,OR)

Everyone welcome! No RSVP needed. Come for a little while or stay all afternoon.

The flowers are incredible right now — thousands and thousands of blooms, and probably millions if we counted every tiny one. The farm is full of color, the piglets are growing fast, and the forecast is currently looking lovely at about 70 degrees.

This OPEN FARM will be the same weekend as the Siletz Pow Wow, just a couple of miles away, so it could be a wonderful day to enjoy both: time at the Pow Wow and a peaceful afternoon with animals, flowers, and farm fun.

A few August highlights:

Camanna Cutie Challenge — our little animal races where cuteness is valued over speed
Weather permitting, of course… tiny animals do not need to prove their athletic ability in the heat.

Bouquet Bar
Build a small bouquet to take home and enjoy some of the summer flower abundance.

KuneKune Piglets
It had been more than two years since we had piglets here, and they have been such a sweet addition to the farm.

Plus all the usual OPEN FARM favorites:

Potentially see around 200 animals from 12 different species
Meet and wander among the flocks and herds
Enjoy the flowers, pastures, woodland, and close-in trails
Spin the prize wheel
Sample homemade cookies and goat milk
Meet some of our favorite animal characters
Fellowship with friends, neighbors, and family
Reconnect, slow down, and enjoy a little time in creation

OPEN FARM is free to attend, but donations are especially important and deeply appreciated. At this time, donations are our primary funding for Camanna’s Trinity Haven and help cover things like cookies, prizes, supplies, animal care, grounds improvements, and the work of keeping these farm days open to the community while sharing God’s love and blessings through creation.

Suggested donation, if possible, is $5 per person or $20 per family, but donations are never required.

This is our sixth year hosting OPEN FARM days, held the 2nd Saturday of each month from May through October.

Piglets have arrived! Three days until OPEN FARM! You can meet week-old piglets! It has been a couple of years since we have had piglets here. This KuneKune family is from my sister Jessica in Amity and includes mother Bella, four of her own piglets and two bigger cousin piglets Bella adopted from her sister. We brought them home Sunday afternoon in our farm minivan. What an adventure! We did it so you can enjoy piglets again and to help my sister out. 🥰 Better get back to preparing for OPEN FARM! Have a wonderful and blessed day everyone! Hopefully we will see some of you soon!

The May OPEN FARM honestly snuck up on us this year! But it was great!

We had so many fun plans 90% ready - and then suddenly more than 315 wonderful visitors wandered through the farm throughout the afternoon!

It turned out to be such a beautiful day — with chicks hatching during the event, children carrying flowers and searching for the twelve “main character” animals, people relaxing among the gardens, picnicing on the lawn, hiking around the pond with the many animals, giant bunny sisters being admired, mothers celebrated, favorite stones selected, and so many peaceful conversations throughout the afternoon.

Honestly, one of our favorite parts was watching people slow down and enjoy fellowship and peace.

And now somehow June OPEN FARM is almost here again — only two weeks away! Life stays busy here on the farm 😄

Since May:
• three adorable Nigerian goat kids have arrived
• another mama goat is due the day before OPEN FARM
• flowers are starting to really bloom
• more seating areas are being added around the farm
• and we are hoping for tiny Serama chicks to hatch soon

We are also planning:
• possible tiny goat kid and chick races
• bouquet bar opportunities if flower quantities allow
• blessing and “main character” cards to find
• prize wheel surprises
• lots of home baked cookies — as usual 😄
• and another peaceful afternoon of fellowship, fun, flowers, animals, and simple beauty here on the farm

June OPEN FARM is often a little smaller and quieter due to graduations, vacations, and busy summer schedules, which many of our regular visitors actually enjoy because it creates an especially peaceful atmosphere around the farm.

This is now our 6th year hosting OPEN FARM days here on the farm (though only our first full year as Camanna’s Trinity Haven, our small non-profit), and we are deeply grateful for the kindness, encouragement, and support surrounding these gatherings.

Suggested donation for OPEN FARM is $5 per person or $20 per family, if possible — but never required. Donations help support the animals, activities, cookies, blessing cards, and all the little details that make OPEN FARM possible each month. Everyone is welcome! Please share this post!

Happy spring everyone! We’re so excited to welcome everyone back for our first OPEN FARM day of 2026 on Saturday, May 9th from 1:00–4:00 PM at Camanna’s Petite Paradise in Siletz!

This will be our sixth year of OPEN FARM days, and we’re looking forward to another beautiful spring afternoon filled with animals, flowers, fellowship, and the simple joy of time spent on the farm.

Since it is Mother’s Day weekend, it is a lovely time to bring Mom to the farm, gather the family, or simply come enjoy a peaceful outing in the country together.

Guests will be able to visit 12 species of animals and over 150 animals total, including our beloved Valais Blacknose sheep and lambs, Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats, livestock guardian dogs (Dante pictured here), giant rabbits, alpacas, Kunekune pigs, ducks, turkeys, tiny chickens, our miniature horse, and more. We will likely also have newly hatched chicks to enjoy!

We’ll have free prizes, home-baked cookies and milk, flowers, and our always-popular spin wheel with fun farm favorites and little prizes guests have come to love.

Everyone is welcome — whether you stop by for a little while or stay and enjoy the whole afternoon with us. We always love the chance to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new ones, and share the beauty and joy of farm life together.
