Our farm is producing pastured, non-GMO chickens this summer. We are trying to gage interest. Our birds are whole chickens that will be picked up on the butcher date. We are planning to pre-sell at $4 per pound. The average weight for a butchered bird last year was 4.1 pounds so you should expect to pay $16 dollars roughly. Here are some pictures from our honey production this year. Most people don't know that some farmers give their bees sugar water instead of letting them forage for their own food. This makes for lazy bees and weak hives. We were able to harvest 2 gallons our first year from our all natural bees which is more than what we hoped for! We survived the cold! The sheep and goats were lucky enough to have an old cattle shed converted into a hideaway from the winter elements. If you are interested, you can check out our YouTube channel where we go into our conversion process!
