Just like that, we have found ourselves at the end of an era. We have successfully found the most wonderful homes for all 95 of our babies. While we will miss them dearly, we are not sad, not anymore. Watching our fur babies be united with their new families was the most wonderful experience. So, so many families will now get to experience the same joy that these animals brought us. We will miss each and every one of them so very much, and they will always have a piece of our hearts. But they are now off on new adventures, with new loving families πŸ’—

Thank you again so much to everyone who supported the ranch over the years, and especially those who supported our fundraiser! The funds allowed us to complete necessary vet work and health tests, buy feed and medicine, and cover transport fees to get the animals to their new homes. While it was not the original intent of the fundraiser, finding good homes for the animals would have been impossible without it. Thank you so very much for helping us make our dream come true for the past few years. Now that we know we can do I successfully, we will definitely be back! Stay tuned for our future adventures!

And a super duper special thank you to Kasie Summerlin at Fabulous Kustoms LLC for the fundraiser with these amazing t-shirts! She made our dream a reality, and now we will forever have a memory of all 95 of the babies we adopted or rescued ❀️ reach out to her for all of your custom creations, she is amazing! 🫢

Oh sweet Whiskey boy, today was a sad goodbye. Whiskey went back to his previous owner who is very familiar with his condition and how to best care for him. We are so blessed to have been able to provide him a loving home where he thrived and got to be loved by so many people, especially the lesson kids! He is a special horse that will always hold a piece of our hearts πŸ’• PS don't laugh at our winter gear, we practically live outside in the 90-100 degree temperatures so we have to bundle up when it drops below 70 πŸ˜‚

Our sweet Martin is on his way to Alabama to join a herd of beautiful ladies to make some gorgeous babies! We are going to miss his shenanigans and the joy he brought to everyone in Southeast Texas, but I know his new family will love him dearly and he is going to love his new 3 acre pond! Be sure to follow Iron Rock Farm on Facebook to stay up to date and be on the look out for babies next year! 😍

[Pending]
Our last herd of goats is looking for a new pasture! We are helping their previous owner find someone who can board them for her and potentially adopt them in the future. Hoping to find someone near the Beaumont area. There are 7 total: two whethers, two doelings, and three mama's. The herd has to stay together, they're family. Please message me if you're interested in helping!

It was a bittersweet moment today as we said goodbye for now to our two gorgeous girls πŸ₯Ή goodbye is never easy when you love these animals so much, but they are on to a new adventure with a wonderful family in San Antonio and some new four-hooved friends! 🫢

Update: she has found her home! 🫢

Our wonderful unicorn is ready to find a new pasture to call home πŸ’— Shasta is a 15 year old paint that stands around 15 HH. She is blind in her left eye due to past trauma and has an abusive past, so she needs a loving family to help her continue to heal from what she has been through. She is the most affectionate horse I have ever seen and is a phenomenal riding horse. She has a bit of a mare attitude so she needs a rider that can handle her little temper tantrums πŸ˜… but she has done a great job at the ranch with trail rides, birthday parties, horseback riding lessons, and everything in between! She loads great, stands for fly spray, and is the easiest keeper I've ever seen. Fair warning, we are going to be more selective about the home she goes to due to her eye injury and history of abuse. If interested in adopting her, please send a message with information about what horses you currently own, your property (including type of fencing around the perimeter), and any additional information that would be helpful for us to understand if you would be a good fit for her. We'll be posting additional pictures and riding videos this week once the rain passes!

This is Bojangles, and he is ready to look for a new family to love him unconditionally as we have had the opportunity to πŸ’— He is a 22 year old retired Texas Prison Horse, his brands are 2⭐️12H. He is a phenomenal riding horse and we've been using him for trail rides, photography sessions, and horseback riding lessons! The kids loved him because he is so responsive and stops on a dime. We have found that he needs to be on a strict 6 week farrier schedule, any longer and he becomes susceptible to abscesses. He has a bit of arthritis in his front left hoof, but seems to do well with joint supplements like 100x equine. He is definitely the boss of the herd, but wouldn't hurt a hair on a person's head no matter how big or small. He stands very well for the farrier and loads well for larger trailers but is hesitant with smaller trailers. He loves splashing in the pond, and loves to take his riders in with him if you'll let him 😁 He is not a very hard keeper and does not require special feed. His favorite treats are carrots, Watermelon, broccoli, and Purina Nicker Makers. His rehoming fee is 2️⃣2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣. Please message me if interested!

Update: he has found his home 🫢

It's Carl's turn to start looking for his new family 🫢 this fella is quite special (I know I say that about them all πŸ˜‚), he is so friendly and LOVES people. Especially the ones that have carrots! The day we brought him home, we couldn't even come within 20 feet of him without him running away. Now we can't even get 2 feet away from him without him following us around looking for scratches 😁 He is a wonderful herd protector, we have not had a single predator make it to our chickens, goats, or pigs since we got him despite seeing tracks close to the front gate. We have spent many hours working with him to make sure it is safe for our children and guests to be around him. He has never hurt a single soul in the time we have owned him. We began working on halter training him and he did well! He has not seen a farrier though, but his hooves do seem to naturally file down and chip off to stay short enough. His rehoming fee is 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ for the right home πŸ’—
