Hi friends… it’s me again 🐾
Welcome to Charlie’s Recovery Favorites: Heartworm Positive Edition (do not panic, mom is still panicking enough for all of us).
Before we begin, mom insists I remind you that everything here is approved by my vet. She also asked me to “be normal about it,” which I will be ignoring respectfully.
Also, I need to address the rumors and speculation: I did not become heartworm positive in mom and dad’s care. I arrived with what mom calls “surprise medical baggage” and what I call “a full starter pack of issues.” Nobody knew. We are all surprised here.
Mom and dad say they would’ve adopted me anyway, which honestly makes sense because… have you seen me?
I’m now in phase two of my glow-up recovery journey: strict rest, limited zoomies (offensive), and increased emotional support duties for mom.
Also, mom says the flowers are “supporting my medical journey,” which I think means I now have a wellness team. She says thank you for all the support.
I say… I lend my parents to all of you every week, so you’re welcome.
Current favorites:
🐾 Tandem slow feeder – This thing is incredible. Two different patterns at the same time? Keeps my brain happy and slows down my very efficient eating habits. Mom says this is important. I say I was never eating too fast to begin with.
🐾 bandana – fashion and safety. I look fabulous.
🐾 Donut bed – emotionally attached. Petitioning to replace all beds immediately.
🐾 High value treats from – carrying all of us on this healing journey.
🐾 collars – compliment my fur tone splendidly. I say they complete the overall aesthetic of a dog doing very important healing work.
🐾 Croissant toy 🥐 – my emotional support pastry while mom and dad fail to cuddle me 25/8.
That’s everything, friends. Save this for your favorite healing pup 💕
Woooof 🐾
