About IceBerg Farms
In 2020, we purchased our property in Silt, Colorado, drawn to its untapped potential. We started by gently grooming an overgrown apple orchard, pruning away the old to make way for new growth. Next came the pastures, where we began the patient work of rebuilding soil health through regenerative practices like cover cropping and mindful management.
Those foundational efforts deepened our understanding of soil and plant vitality, inspiring us to expand the orchard with peaches, cherries, and pears. Alongside the fruit trees, we introduced vibrant flowers—what began as an addition quickly became a source of pure joy for Mindy, who loves growing and sharing her blooms with others, turning simple bouquets into moments of connection and beauty.
Summer brings the rhythm of the land to life, with Tim handling irrigation, pruning and bringing Mindy’s creative visions to reality—whether it’s designing new flower beds or experimenting with companion planting. His steady hands keep everything thriving under the Colorado sun.
When winter arrives and the orchard rests, Tim shifts to the wood shop, where he fills custom orders for customers near and far. From small name tags and personalized gifts to larger furniture pieces, he crafts with care—and our custom laser engraving adds that extra touch of personalization to make each item truly one-of-a-kind.
Today, IceBerg Farms—home to Boards and Blossoms for our flowers and woodworking—is a partnership in full bloom: Mindy’s blooms and fruit nourish the heart and table, while Tim’s craftsmanship adds lasting, handmade treasures. Rooted in soil regeneration and a love for creating, we’re building a farm—and a life—that gives back to the land and the people who visit it. We invite you to come see, taste, smell, and take home what we’ve grown together.
