SOPRIS Big Time won the Huacaya Light Male CC under all 3 judges in Iowa. Big is out of Maisey Moon’s dam, SOPRIS Moon Kissed, and by Estates Passionate Fever. 18 months old. He’s one to keep an eye on…

He was not shown in walking fleece.

We had a great time and a good showing in Iowa last weekend. Thank you Scott and Ann Young, Kevin Oleary, the support staff and all the volunteers! I enjoyed seeing old friends and making new ones. I rarely post my show results, preferring to let my alpacas do the talking for themselves, but I am slowly realizing that it’s a different world we live in today. So, I am going to start doing some of this. Lord, please forgive me!!!

We took 7 home bred alpacas. 5 of them won multiple banners, and a 6th won her class all 3 days, but did not banner.

Among the group, Sopris Maisey Moon met us there, returning from her maiden breeding, and so I decided to show her one last weekend. She ended her fine career winning 2 RCs. One in halter, 1 in walking fleece, being 5 months pregnant. I had a little moment with her as we left the ring for the last time. What a joy she has been for me to show.

Individual show results will follow as I have time. I’m very proud of my alpacas, whether they won or not.

Kim Wesson and I would also like to express our immense gratitude to Janis and John Conlon of Ridge Valley Alpacas in Fairfield Virginia. Thank you so much for your purchase of Sopris Red Razzle! We think she will be a very nice asset for you and an excellent female for Wilkinson. Hopefully her BEA-2 Bomber fetus winds up being a healthy portion of icing on the cake for you!

This is SOPRIS Ember, Lot 19 in the upcoming EDU Auction. In my humble opinion, she is a stud female. Please consider her for your breeding program. She is a multiple banner winner, and is confirmed pregnant, by ultrasound, to 12 time champion SOPRIS Bandit, a Matrix son.
