RB Showpigs RB Show Pigs started 15 years ago in Wisconsin by the Beckard brothers. Now based in Minnesota, RB Showpigs breeds competitive purebred and crossbreds.

Born into the dairy industry, the Beckard brothers who founded RB Show Pigs became drawn to the industry after brother Ryan worked at a local pig farm in southwest Wisconsin. Noticing the speed and impact careful breeding decisions could have on a swine herd, the brothers started purchasing and breeding pigs for younger brothers, Ryder and Richmond, to show in 4-H. It was after their first few purple ribbons that they were hooked. Today, the RB Show Pigs herd lives in Silver Lake, MN, and consists of quality purebred and crossbred females. Purebreds include a passion for Spots, Yorks, Landrance and Durocs while many of our favorite crossbreds are noted for their "blue" appearance. Day to day management is done by eldest brother, Robert, and his wife Lana. Richmond and his fiance, Jameson, remain involved in the breeding decisions, selection, and acquisition to improve the herd.
