We’re thrilled to announce an incredible new chapter for Acorn Creek Ranch, our 140-year-old family homestead established in 1894. This winter, we are honored to host Dallas Seavey, a 6-time Iditarod champion and third-generation musher, along with his team of over 30 sled dogs and fellow mushers.
Dallas’s roots in the sport run deep—his grandfather competed in the very first Iditarod, and his father has also claimed the championship title. Now, he’s bringing his expertise, passion, and amazing dogs to our 800-acre ranch just 10 miles north of Silverthorne.
We’re excited to share this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with our community. Whether you’re a family looking for a unique outing or someone fascinated by the incredible sport of dog sledding, our private sled dog tours offer a perfect blend of tradition, adventure, and breathtaking natural beauty.
