Women's health deserves more than assumptions.

A 2026 scoping review mapped research on cannabinoid use among adult women and found that most studies focused on cannabis overall—not C*D specifically.

Researchers also identified gaps in understanding women's health outcomes and use of cannabinoids for women-specific conditions.

That doesn't mean C*D is a proven answer. It means we need better questions, better studies, and clearer information.

🧠 MENTAL HEALTH MONDAY: WHAT CAN REAL-WORLD DATA TELL US ABOUT CANNABIS & AUTISM?

A report published October 1 by Minnesota's Office of Cannabis Management examined medical cannabis program data from 1,811 adults and children with autism spectrum disorder.

Among patients who entered the program with moderate-to-severe anxiety, **57% reported at least a 30% reduction in anxiety symptoms within four months** of their first medical cannabis purchase.

The report also documented changes in depression, sleep difficulties, and fatigue.

But there's an important distinction: this was observational data, not a controlled clinical trial. Researchers couldn't determine whether cannabis caused the reported changes, and other treatments may have contributed.

The findings add to a research area that still needs more rigorous clinical studies.
