Fall is here. That means crisper mornings and chiller evenings. Could there be a more perfect time for a cuppa tea? There are three things I try to do on a daily basis in order to find sanity, comfort and joy.
I love taking my dog, Nikki, out for a late afternoon walk after I am done with work. Well, in all honesty, she often takes me for a walk. She is a good dog, but she is big and strong. As soon as I put her on her leash she becomes excited. She is like a kid in a candy store. She wants to stop and smell everything.
I also like to play a game of Sudoku. I have recently learned how to play and I love how it can keep me focused. Iβm trying to keep any brain muscles in tip-top shape.
Of course, I absolutely love my evening βwind-downβ cuppa tea. Now that it is getting chiller, I am pulling out all my old favorites.
One of our favorite herbal teas is Fruit Fantasy. For those of you that I have made it for in the past, know that I generally make it iced and I add lemonade or a sweetend flavored tea to it and it makes a delightful summer beverage. It is very popular at baby/bridal showers and even birthday parties.
Lately, I have really enjoyed Fruit Fantasy as a hot tea. It has a sweet-tartness to it that is so soothing going down my throat. Once brewed, it is a gorgeous red color and the fruity smell is definitely incising.
Itβs funny how one tea blend can accommodate different seasons.
