We are located on the grounds of American Jewish University Brandeis-Bardin Campus, a 3000 acre working ranch in the hills above Simi Valley. Horses, cattle, goats, and other wildlife, along with the unspoiled beauty of the ranch, are an essential part of our therapeutic riding experience

WHAT IS
EQUESTRIAN THERAPY

Equestrian Therapy is horseback riding for people with special needs or those just seeking a natural way to reduce stress and contribute to their personal growth. By combining horsemanship with concepts of physical and occupational therapy, riders
can improve:

SELF CONFIDENCE

In less than fifteen minutes, a walking horse takes a
thousand steps. Each step requires the rider to use their muscles
and mind to maintain balance and control the horse. Equestrian Therapy Co-Op offers a program that is taught
in an atmosphere of fun and cncouragement. Our dedicated staff, volunteers, and specially trained horses
create an opportunity for students to interact with animals
and nature while improving their physical and mental capabilities.
