Still looking for the perfect gift for Dad for Father's Day this Sunday? Get him something you know he will love with a new favorite bourbon or whiskey - now available at your favorite local Kentucky retailer!
General Thomas
Give your Dad the bourbon that allows you to send him a personalized message through the power of A.I.! This bourbon talks back!
This is 5-year Kentucky bourbon, available at 99 proof or barrel strength (111-115 proof). We use limestone-filtered water and age it in charred oak barrels. The high-rye mash bill brings bold flavor, but it's the time and the water that give you that smooth finish people can't stop talking about.
This isn't tech covering up mediocre whiskey. The bourbon earns its place on your shelf before the General ever says a word.
Every bottle of General Thomas has its own unique QR code—its own website. If we made 10 million bottles, there'd be 10 million websites. Scan yours and watch General Thomas—a 160-year-old Civil War general—come to life on your screen. No app needed. He'll offer to tell you stories about the Rock of Chickamauga, the town of Fort Thomas, or the bourbon itself. Or he'll deliver a custom message for you—up to 350 characters—in his own voice. 'Like a cannonball wrapped in charm,' as he puts it
Here's the part that makes it permanent: once you accept that custom message, it locks into that QR code, on that bottle, forever. Not just any bottle of General Thomas—your bottle. Scan it again next week or ten years from now, and your message plays first, every time. First bourbon—first consumer brand in the country—to do this. A perfect conversation piece for your bar. An unbeatable gift. This bourbon doesn't just sit on the shelf—it talks back.

Jackson Purchase
Explore how Legacy, Authenticity, and Reflection of Place all converged here in Fulton County, Kentucky, to create what we believe is a supreme achievement
in bourbon.
It starts with our Master Distiller, Craig Beam. You might recognize those names (first and last). To say he’s bourbon royalty may not be an exaggeration, as Craig is a seventh-generation bourbon distiller. He has been making bourbon since he was legally old enough to drink it and watched his father and grandfather
even before that.
Craig and Head Distiller Terry Ballard are together, and individually, steeped in making excellent bourbons that carry other people’s brands. As Terry has been heard to say, “We have bourbon in our veins.”
Today, they apply everything they’ve learned over the past 40 years to making bourbon for Jackson Purchase Bourbon.
Together, Master Distiller Craig Beam and Head Distiller Terry Ballard are making bourbon today using tried and true methods passed down from generations. Sourcing local grains, natural limestone water, and using traditional 100% copper stills, they produced over 100,000 barrels of bourbon in the first four years of production.

Kentucky Owl Batch 13
The Kentucky Owl brand traces back to C.M. Dedman, who founded it in Bardstown, Kentucky in 1879 before Prohibition silenced the label for nearly a century. Revived in 2014, Kentucky Owl has built its reputation on meticulously blended, high-proof bourbon. Batch 13, released in June 2025, continues that approach: a blend of Kentucky straight bourbons married together for balance and drinkability rather than oak-driven intensity. It is the brand's first release following its 2024 restructuring and the last blend assembled by John Rhea, who spent nearly five decades in the bourbon industry.
Kentucky Owl Bourbon Batch 13 is a 113.6-proof Kentucky straight bourbon — a small-batch blend of five bourbons aged 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9 years, and the final blend created by Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame Master Blender John Rhea before his retirement.
Cream of Kentucky Cask Strength
The Cream of Kentucky brand was originally introduced in 1888 by I. Trager & Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to the end of Prohibition, the brand was acquired by the famed Schenley Company and re-introduced in 1934. Through the 1930s and 1940s, Cream of Kentucky grew to become one of the leading bourbon brands, with renowned artist Norman Rockwell providing the artwork for the brand.
This Cask Strength offers a robust flavor profile that ensures the continuation of our signature “Double-Rich” flavor promise. Personalize your drinking experience with a few drops of water or a cube of ice and unlock the full potential of our cask strength bourbon.

This small batch blend is created by sourcing from several different distilleries in Kentucky and Indiana with Bourbon aged 8-10 years, this blend was then secondary aged in toasted Kelvin Cooperage barrels for 9 weeks. The secondary barrels are blended then bottled once Jonathan and Jennifer find the perfect balance between traditional Bourbon notes and added complexity / richness from the toasted barrels.

Burnt Tavern Bourbon
Burnt Tavern Bourbon is named after a twice-burned and rebuilt tavern in Garrard County, Kentucky. Playing off the history of its namesake, Burnt Tavern Bourbon is “double-barreled in two unique, slowly toasted and charred barrels,” which adds a whisper of smoke to the bourbon. William Berkele Distillery’s master distiller is Chip Tate, famed for originally founding Balcones Distillery in Texas. Says Tate, “I have a long and storied history making whiskey with fire and smoke. Wood smoke and its ability to impart subtle and complex flavor to spirits has been a part of my distilling journey from the early days. Burnt Tavern Bourbon represents the intersection of classic Kentucky bourbon with rich new layers of smoke and oak added by our special finishing process – a new medley of classic American flavors.”

EJ Curley
Unmatched Heritage, Distinctive Taste, and a Legacy from the Kentucky River Palisades.
One of Bourbon's original tastemakers, E.J. Curley coined the term Bluegrass and founded his namesake brand, E.J. Curley & Co, along the Kentucky River Palisades in 1867. Curley was a prolific marketing maven and quickly issued additional brands including Blue Grass Bourbon, Boone's Knoll Bourbon, and Curley Rye. His exceptional brand-creating mind was matched only by his business acumen, as evidenced by a single sale of 8600 barrels to a buyer in Chicago for a modern-day equivalent of $19 million the largest bourbon sale ever recorded at that time. In 1902, he formed the Distillers Securities Corporation in NYC, which controlled the great majority of Kentucky Bourbon production. A connoisseur to the very end, Curley spent his golden years living at the Ritz Hotel Paris raising glasses with the most influential artists and thinkers of the time.
We honor the Curley elan by bringing to market expertly handcrafted small batch and single-barrel bourbon expressions hand selected by our Master Blender.
