Last year I planted larkspur in the fall and fell in love when it bloomed in spring. I decided to plant a lot more of it this year, but I also wanted to try some new “cool flower” varieties that I haven’t grown yet. I’m loving the delicate white orlaya and the unique green leaves of the bupleurum with the deep purple of the larkspur. This combination has me swooning. 💜🤍💚

Preparing to have a baby in May means I haven’t had the time to start seeds indoors this year like usual. But I do have some fall planted flowers now beginning to bloom that I’m enjoying, and I plan to direct sow some seeds in the garden this week (more like my wonderful husband is going to plant and I’m going to supervise because bending down right now is quite a task). Although I don’t plan on making and selling bouquets as much this summer, I’m more than happy to make custom arrangements with what I have available, upon request. Having fresh flowers in the home lifts my spirits and I want to continue spreading that joy to others as much as I’m able. 🌼

I won’t have many more fresh bouquets remaining this year but I’m looking forward to creating more dried arrangements and planning for next year 🥰 I already have some cool season seedlings starting inside that will be planted outdoors in a few weeks 🌱 Bring on the fall weather 🍂

More pumpkin arrangements were born today!
If you’re interested in ordering one, here’s some information:

🎃They are made with real pumpkins topped with dried moss and a variety of dried flowers and greenery. 90% of the arrangement I have grown and dried (Minus the pumpkin and moss)
🧡They do not require watering or any maintenance at all.
🌻They will last MONTHS! As long as they are kept inside and the pumpkin is not punctured.
🦃They are a perfect Fall/Thanksgiving centerpiece

The ones below are medium heirloom blue pumpkins and are $30. I also make orange “pie sized” pumpkins for $25 each (see previous post). I will make mini pumpkin arrangements too, with interest. Message me if you’d like one or have any questions!!

Since going back to my full time job I haven’t had as much time or energy to tend to my flowers. Plus, it’s been so hot here in Eastern NC 🥵 But I’m learning to give myself grace and just do what I can 🌼 Flower arrangements are still available with 24 hr notice! I’m hoping to have some dried floral creations this fall as well 🌾
