Shear Bliss Alpacas

Hello to all. Well, it has been a long time since I posted to my page. So much has changed and some things stay the same but time moves us on to accept the challenges in front of us.

I will be closing the barn door on Shear Bliss Alpacas before the year is out. The alpacas have been placed at two alpaca ranches near San Antonio, much of the equipment has been sold (tractor, etc.) and so now I will be preparing for an inventory close out sale. The date for the sale is 10/16/21 (Saturday) from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, here at the ranch. I will send out an event msg as a follow-up.

Hi - we hope you are doing well. We have been busy around here, that is for sure. Spring time always puts a longer stride in our step!

Here are a few pics of alpaca bath mats/rugs we made for a customer in Carlsbad, New Mexico. They wanted a marbled brown color and as you can see, we finished tying off the fringe on the smaller one and will be finishing the larger one soon.

After they are shipped off, then our next stop is Durango, Colorado. They want a 2 1/2 foot wide by six foot long alpaca runner with a marbled gray color. That one will be a work out for sure!

Hi - a home school group came out to the ranch today, ready for the alpacas! What a great bunch of kids, ready with their questions and energy. We have ten acres so they wore a little of that energy off and at the same time, learned a thing or two about alpacas, weaving, etc. Great day!! Laura and Mike
