Week One back in Wisconsin has been fast and furious but I did manage to sneak in a little time in the kitchen.

🍏🍎These apple pie bars have such a great mix of textures: the snap of the buttery shortbread crust, the luscious apple pie filling and crunchy streusel topping-mmmmm mmmm good! (And that homemade salted caramel sauce drizzled on top? It’s the stuff dreams are made of!).

I’m a firm believer that all birthdays are special… but then there’s super special: 100! 🎉💯

I’m always honored when my cookies get to be part of someone’s celebrations, but getting to create cookies for a centenarian? That’s a pretty incredible one to add to the baking books. ❤️ (even more incredible; this is the second 100th birthday celebration I’ve had the honor of baking for 😎🎉)

As my break from hospital work is coming to a close, I want to thank you all for your support of my little home bakery and for your patience as I work to figure out how best to keep up my bakery schedule while travelling for work.

Whether you placed your first order, your 27th order, simply liked and followed my page, and continued to show up, engage, and encourage my baking-please know it means the world to me.

I will soon be heading back to Wisconsin to work for a bit, but will return for the holiday baking season-so stay tuned for all the cute fall and winter options! I’m so lucky to have such amazing support-thank you!
