Cow Platty...The History of the Unique Name
In 1982, a funny country song became popular on the radio called "Cow Patty" by Jim Stafford. While running track that year, my nickname emerged from my track coach, Mr. The catchy ring of Cow Platty began to stink with the infamous tune of "Yippie eye eh Cow Platty." In 2005, at the Greeley Smoke off, the competition team needed a name and that is when Cow Platty BBQ and Catering began its journey of making delicious food for all occasions.
