Easter is right around the corner, and so are Easter baskets! We have lots of fun Easter treats to choose from this year. We made mini and large bunny and egg shaped popcorn balls filled with colorful Easter m&ms. We also brought back a much beloved flavor, white salted popcorn coated in white chocolate. This time with fun Easter colors! Lastly we have our carrot bags filled with orange colored confetti popcorn, the Easter bunny's favorite!

***NEW PRODUCT ALERT***

Today we are introducing our newest flavor, SWEET SMOKE BBQ!!! This flavor is absolutely awesome! Here's the back story of how this flavor came to be.

My uncle Willie has been a BBQ aficionado for many years. One of his good friends is Ed who owns Uncle Ed's on the east side of Sioux Falls. One day my Dad and I went there for some lunch and also to grab some meat for the weekend! Willie had us try the fries and he said, "You know this French fry seasoning is excellent on your popcorn!". Well with that we asked for a big tub and went back to Poppy’s for some “Experimenting”.
The first couple of batches were okay but not knock your socks off good….. we had to keep trying. Well our next attempt was awesome! We have had many BBQ flavors over the years but nothing comes remotely close to this! We decided to make a custom label so Ed could sell it in his store and also I wanted it in mine because it’s awesome!!!
Stop into our store for a sample and make a stop at Uncle Ed’s for lunch sometime and try the french fries!

Halloween is drawing near so to celebrate we have some limited edition Halloween flavors and packaging! "Spooky Corn" is our traditional confetti in black and orange. "Franken Fruitti" uses the grape and green apple from our typical Tutti Fruitti flavor. Small bag is $1.29, medium is $3.99, and large is $5.99.

Just a quick update about Poppy’s!!!!

We will be switching back to our fall/winter/spring hours adding Sunday’s back into the mix from 12-5.

So Labor Day to Memorial Day hours are as follows:

10-6 Monday through Saturday
12-5 Sunday

More awesome news for Poppys!!!!! You can now find us at HyVee on 57th and cliff!!!!!!!!! And to top it off we are even on a fuel saver so that’s pretty exciting news! This is really neat for us because that store is just a couple blocks from my home and I’m there weekly! It was extremely wild going in through the delivery doors versus the front doors! We feel extremely fortunate for the opportunity!

We have another brand new flavor! Yes another new flavor, we like to use the summertime to experiment with new flavors we have never tried before. This flavor is called "Root Beer Float". We took a sugar coated base, added root beer flavoring to it, then topped it off with a white chocolate drizzle. We welcome you to stop in to our store for a free sample!
