🍯Pro Tip:🍯
If your honey hardens, put the jar (lid off) in a small pot of water. Boil until honey flows again. Let cool before using &/or recapping.

🐝Bee careful🐝 - this works great with glass jars, which is why I have permanently switched to bottling in glass only. Do this in plastic bottles at your own risk - it will surly melt the plastic.

I pulled 9 frames of honey off one of my hives on Sunday.
Expected about 26 lbs of 🍯, but when I was bottling honey this morning, I got 32 lbs!
My girls are working hard for me this summer!!!

🐝Another wild week in the apiary🐝
I discovered the new hive I created from rescuing my swarm was queenless, & as such, quite aggressive in the high heat. I got away lucky with only 3 stings, purchased a new Queen (Carnolean), & installed her.
I learned something new:
Honeybees will make LOTS of honey even w/o a Queen!
I will have 🍯 b4 the end of June!!
