On July 3rd, 2013 Tea Thyme in Door County opened its doors for business. Little did we know then that Tea Thyme would be so much more than a “business”…. For the past 13 years, our beloved customers (and friends) showed us and told us, time and again, that TeaThyme has been about community, shared experience, kindness, laughter, great tea (obviously), exploration, discovery, good books (The Novel-Tea Book Club), good food (Tea Thyme Tea Room) and so much more than we could have imagined.

We haven’t always done all that we wanted to do: but we have given it our all. We both find ourselves tremendously fortunate and blessed to have shared this adventure with such a wonderful array of people: those who have worked with us and for us, those strangers who became friends, first time customers who became regular and welcome parts of our days, weeks and years. To each of you we offer our most sincere gratitude and appreciation. We have loved being “Your Cup of Tea”.

No doubt you have sensed where this is heading… and to be honest, we share our news with mixed emotions, but the time has come for Tea Thyme in Door County to take leave. This will be our last season as Door County’s Premier Tea Store and our doors will close when our shelves are empty and our building has sold.

We are uncertain about the future of our website and online store but will keep you posted. Meanwhile, please come and visit us; take advantage of the products still available and the sales which will be announced as we take the next steps.

We wanted to update you on our hours for the season.
Starting on Wednesday May 27th we will be open from 11am to 4pm Wednesday through Saturday.
We apologize for the sporadic hours recently and hope you will visit us soon.
